Edit / Add Team Member

The Team Member page allows a team lead to change the following user characteristics:

• UserID — The user email address.
• Team Lead — Sets/resets the permissions of the team member to be a team lead for a specific team. A team may have as many team leads as team members. There must be at least one team lead.
• Is Active — Sets/resets the permissions of the team member to access their team's projects. If a team member is not active status they are unable to view or edit team projects.

The Team Member page also displays non-changeable information:

• User Registered — displays if a user has registered with the HECAT Online system.
• User is Active — displays if user is active in HECAT Online.
• Invitation Status — displays if HECAT Online sent an email-generated invitation to the user when the user was added to the team.

Changes will only be saved when the SAVE button is pressed.

When a new member, who has not yet registered with the HECAT Online site, is added to the team, the Team Lead is able to send an invitation to the new member. The invitation is system generated and sent to the email address entered in the UserID field. The invitation includes a link to the registration page of HECAT Online.

Invitations are not sent to users who have already registered.
